SCULPTURE ll (3-D Studio) is a survey course focusing on Ceramics, Jewelry, and Sculpture. The class is designed to build on the experience of the first year art course. Students will be assigned projects that require more complex critical thinking and problem solving skills. In depth exploration utilizing a variety of materials, tools, techniques and skills; along with an expanded historical aspect of 3-D Design will be covered.
SCULPTURE/CERAMICS/JEWELRY lll & IV allows for students to become self directed while continuing to master new techniques at an advanced skill level.
Level lV students will coordinate and assemble an individual Art exhibit of their work as a part of the BISD Annual All Level Spring Show.

CLASS ROOM INFORMATION
- MAJOR PROJECTS:2-3 extensive artworks per 9 week grading period that students work on for several weeks. The goal of these projects is to display a culmination of each student's individual "vision".
- HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS:3-4 drawings/photos/research per 9 week grading period that students are given one week to complete outside of class. The goal of these assignments is to enhance the information & techniques learned in class.
